Rendez-Vous Protéomique 2009 (archives)

Location: McGill University
New Residence Hall
3625 Parc Avenue, Montréal

Date: April 16th 2009 from 8am to 4:30pm
About the rendez-vous protéomique 2009

Proteomics plays a key role in systems biology because of its intimate links with genomics and transcriptomics. In contrast to transcriptomics which deals with mRNA, proteomics directly looks at gene products. In recent years, increasing needs in the scientific community for the identification and quantitation of proteins in more challenging samples, has led to the creation of high-throughput proteomic platforms. This scientific Rendez-Vous is intended for researchers interested in technologies and applications related to high-throughput proteomics.

The Rendez-Vous Protéomique 2009 will focus on Canadian researchers leading initiatives using proteomics applications in very diverse areas of research. Topics covered will include:

  • Quantitative Proteomics
  • Systems biology
  • Bioinformatics
